Competitions
Competition level dancers compete throughout the year at various competitions in the metroplex.  At the 2018 VIP Regional Competition, SDC was awarded the highest scoring studio award out of their division.

Performances
Our students are given the opportunity to perform at various functions throughout the year, including school carnivals, assorted holiday programs, Hometown Celebration, Holiday Magic and Mayfest. Assorted dance camps, dance conventions, master classes and competitions are available for the more serious student.

Recital Information
Our 2019 recital will be held at 4:00 PM on May 5, 2019 at the Mansfield ISD Center for the Performing Arts.  A mandatory dress rehearsal will be held on May 4, 2019.

Costumes are billed on the November statement with prices ranging from $72 (combo classes) – $99 (company dancers) per costume. In order to ensure prompt costume delivery, costumes must be paid for in full by November 7, 2018. The Recital fee of $100 per family is billed on the December statement. Recital fee covers all expenses associated with producing this show and renting the facility. There is no admission fee to attend recital.

Recital participation is not mandatory. However students not participating must notify the studio in writing prior to October 1st, because costume preparations begin at that time. Early orders assure delivery in time for additional spring performances such as school carnivals and Mayfest. Any student enrolled as of October 15, 2018 will be charged for costumes and recital fee unless previously notified.
